MELANIE MOSLEY, PTA
Melanie Mosley originally started out as a massage therapist; however, through further training and learning, she endured a career change and became a physical therapist assistant. After working at the hospital for 18 years, Melanie Mosley joined the team at Gillette Physical Therapy and now feels that she is surrounded by family. Melanie was originally drawn to the fun atmosphere at GPT; now, she contributes to it every day. One of her favorite parts about her job is, of course, the enjoyable environment, but she also loves the interaction she is able to have with patients and coworkers alike.
Mosley lives by the motto “Enjoy Life.” She applies this both in her personal life and in her daily work at Gillette Physical Therapy. Melanie’s ability to find happiness in any scenario makes her easy to interact with and get to know. This quality contributes to Mosley’s success as a therapist, along with the fact that she is a good listener, works well with any and all individuals, and has an array of life tools that allow her to handle different situations with ease. When she is not at the clinic, Melanie is continuing to enjoy life by being involved in the community through volunteering at Gillette Physical Therapy events, going to local truck and car shows, and participating in motorcycle events.
Melanie Mosley is undoubtedly talented in many areas of life. Not only did she once hold bodybuilding and powerlifting records, she was also Miss Wyoming twice and participated competitively in the Miss America and Miss USA pageants. While Mosley used to race cars recreationally, her love of excitement has persisted as she now rides harleys and belongs to the HOG membership. When not at the clinic, Melanie finds joy in restoring her 1972 Chevy pickup and riding motorcycles with family and friends. She was recently engaged to her now-fiancee, Byron, and adores him and his five little dogs.
